We are currently looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner \xe2\x80\x93 Workplace Investigations to join our Corporate Human Resource team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Manager, Client Services, you will work closely with employees and leaders to provide conflict resolution services aligned with business objectives while seeking to develop proactive integrated solutions. Furthermore, the Sr. HRBP \xe2\x80\x93 Workplace Investigations will work collaboratively with HR team members to deliver core HR programs and help deliver business transformation.

As a Sr. HRBP \xe2\x80\x93 Workplace Investigations, you will:

  • Lead/support workplace investigations and complaints.
  • Facilitate mediation and offer recommendations to restore positive, professional, and productive working environments.
  • Lead or provide conflict resolution support with/to HR Business Partners and Leaders to help manage complex and sensitive workplace issues.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to proactively identify opportunities and create plans in support of our organizational policies relating to Respectful Workplace and Code of Conduct.
  • Develop and provide Respectful Workplace and Code of Conduct training and development, as well as be involved in special projects related to the same.
  • Coach, challenge, and support leaders at all levels.
  • Analyze metrics to determine trends for action.
  • Provide support to the Client Services team during peak times, by assisting with the planning, delivery, and facilitation of HR or Company initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to proactively identify opportunities and create plans in support various human resources and corporate initiatives/projects.
  • Collaborate with other support teams to create sustainable solutions.
What skills will make you successful?

You recognize yourself in most of the following competencies, and where possible possess the skills and experience listed below:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, or other related fields.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a HR generalist or specialist role, with experience working within a unionized environment.
  • Strong experience in leading and conducting workplace investigations. Certification in such, as well as mediation, conflict/dispute resolution would be an asset.
  • CPHR certification would be an asset.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, as travel across province will be required.
  • Able to facilitate training or meetings as required.
  • Strong ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to manage stakeholder relations.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, focusing on collaboration and \xe2\x80\x98win-win\xe2\x80\x99 outcomes.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues.
