For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire in the United States or CanadaAbout the opportunityDayforcexe2x80x99s high-performing External Communications team is looking for a Sr. Social Media Manager, External Communications, to develop, plan, and execute comprehensive social media strategies designed to enhance brand visibility, foster engagement, and drive growth across multiple platforms.The ideal candidate will be highly creative, with a proven track record in social media strategy and execution, as well as a deep understanding of the latest social media tools and data analytics. They have experience handling multiple high-priority projects xe2x80x93 including events, product launches, and global issues management xe2x80x93 with meticulous attention to detail. They have proven experience in community management and employee social media advocacy.The Sr. Manager is a skilled writer, passionate about creating high-quality social media content that effectively amplifies the brand, products, partners, customers, and executives. They should have progressive and proven work experience leading the social media function for global brands, preference for those within technology and/or B2B SaaS.What you will get to do

  • Strategy development: develop and implement enterprise-wide social media strategies to enhance the brand, grow audiences, and foster engagement across all social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram and emerging platforms.
  • Creative ideation:stay on top of social media trends and develop innovative, channel-specific ways to engage audiences and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Critical writing: write creative, clever, and engaging on-brand social media copy xe2x80x93 optimized for each channel xe2x80x93 that enhances organic reach and engagement on organic channels.
  • Executive thought leadership: serve as the lead copywriter for executive thought leadership on social media, crafting compelling and strategic posts that reflect executive views and organizational values. Manage a proactive calendar for key executives, reflecting Dayforce-related content, as well as opportunities for proactive thought leadership and community engagement.
  • Community engagement: lead community engagement across all social media platforms to foster an active, positive online community. Respond to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Content calendar management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of social media content. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align content with marketing campaigns and key company initiatives.
  • Campaign integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, PR, product, HR, sales, and partner teams to ensure social media efforts are integrated and amplify broader campaigns and functional priorities.
  • Reporting and analytics: Lead social media reporting and analytics, including data-driven optimization to inform strategies and improve performance.
  • Brand collaboration: Work closely with brand teams and agencies to deliver expression to our social media channels through engaging social media posts, animation, and video.
  • Training and guidance: Provide guidance and training to team members across the organization on social media best practices, brand voice consistency, and opportunities for engagement.
  • Global issues management: Provide counsel and strategic guidance on managing global issues on social media, including crisis communication, reputation management, and responding to sensitive topics in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Employee advocacy: Empower our employees through social media advocacy programs, utilizing tools like Sprout Social. Encourage and guide employees to share brand content and engage on social media, amplifying our reach and fostering a sense of ownership and involvement in our social media presence.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to our strategies.
Skills and experience we value
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Manage programs fully and with limited supervision, including KPIs and measurement, budget tracking, and planning processes.
  • Deep knowledge on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Sprout Social, Google Analytics.
  • Trend seeker who is passionate about all things social, including emerging platforms, influencers, viral campaigns.
  • Experience in end-to-end content development, digital production, distribution, and measurement.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and take on new responsibilities as required.
  • Creative and agile team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration on organic channels.
  • Agile team player who can travel and work flexible hours, when required and as the business demands.
  • Executive presence and the ability to build rapport and trust with senior leaders.
