Candidates must live in the Los Angeles area or the New York Tri-State area.Summary: Quigley-Simpson is on the hunt for an experienced Sr. Director Communications Planning to spearhead the strategic development and execution of multifaceted communications plans across linear and digital channels. The mission of this role is to engage target audiences with precision, creativity, and effectiveness across earned, owned, and paid media channels.   • Strategic Communications Planning: Craft and support execution of comprehensive communications strategies that effectively target key audiences, incorporating a balanced mix of earned, owned, and paid media channels. Your work will articulate our brand\'s story, ensuring that it reaches the right people at the right time and through the right channels.
  • Collaborative Strategy Alignment: Work closely with key internal stakeholders, including Creative, Marketing, Media and Analytics teams, to ensure a unified approach to campaigns that maximizes impact and coherence across all touchpoints.
  • Consumer Insights Expertise: Leverage syndicated sources, industry research, and custom studies to understand consumer behavior across media channels and relationship with brands.
  • Customer Journey Development: Apply your deep understanding of the consumer to create customer journeys to inform development messaging and creative executions that resonate with target demographics and inform media selection, enhancing engagement and driving conversions across various media placements.
  • Digital Innovation and Leadership: Propel our agency forward by driving innovation and thought leadership in digital advertising, including the optimization of performance marketing channels and exploration of emerging platforms to boost ROI.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Inspire cross-functional teams, and manage external agency partnerships with clear, strategic direction and an inclusive approach.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Leverage analytics and data insights to support the evaluation of campaign performance rigorously, recommending adjustments to strategies, as necessary to improve results and achieve key performance indicators.
  • Inclusive Collaboration: Exhibit outstanding collaboration skills and cultural sensitivity, creating a work environment that celebrates diversity and fosters teamwork, driving toward common goals and shared success.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • 7-10+ years of experience in communications planning, preferably within a major media agency.
  • Proven track record of developing and executional support of comprehensive communications plans across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of the customer journey and the ability to integrate creative and media messaging effectively.
  • Experience in both brand and performance marketing, with a focus on driving business results.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate a persuasive point of view.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and other relevant tools for developing and presenting communications plans.
  • Self-starter with exceptional work ethic, thriving in fast-paced and constantly changing environments.
