Job Description

Architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and TFS to streamline software deployment processes. Manage containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenStack to facilitate scalable microservices architectures. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and PowerShell scripts across cloud providers including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and private cloud environments. Monitor system health and application performance with tools like New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and Log analysis platforms to proactively identify issues and optimize performance. Collaborate with development teams to integrate RESTful APIs, Web services, and microservices architectures ensuring seamless deployment and operation of enterprise applications. Oversee disaster recovery planning, incident response procedures, and security protocols such as firewall management and identity & access management to safeguard IT assets. Troubleshoot complex software issues related to Java, C#, C++, Python, Groovy, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or other enterprise software components within UNIX/Linux or Windows Server environments.

Proven experience in DevOps roles with a strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC), system testing, release management, and incident recovery. Extensive hands-on expertise with cloud computing platforms including AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure (Microsoft Cloud), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with virtualization technologies like VMware. Deep understanding of IT infrastructure components such as DNS, TCP/IP protocols, network administration (LAN/WAN), TCP socket programming, Active Directory integration, and computer networking fundamentals. Skilled in scripting languages including Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Perl, T-SQL for automation tasks across diverse environments. Familiarity with enterprise middleware such as WebSphere Application Server and JBoss; experience managing databases like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle; knowledge of PL/SQL for database scripting. Strong grasp of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban; experience using Jira or GitLab for requirements gathering and project tracking. Ability to lead complex projects involving distributed systems architecture while maintaining high standards for software quality assurance and compliance.
