Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our technology initiatives, driving the development and deployment of robust systems that enhance our operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and implement best practices in cloud computing and automation. Your expertise will empower us to deliver high-quality software solutions swiftly and reliably.

What you'll do

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes. Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to enhance application scalability. Monitor system performance using tools like New Relic and Splunk, ensuring optimal operation and quick incident response. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing and quality assurance into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Troubleshoot complex issues across the IT infrastructure, providing technical support as needed. Implement disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity and data integrity. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.

Basic qualifications

Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), or PowerShell for automation tasks. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices in managing cloud infrastructure. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with enterprise software development using Java, .NET, or Ruby on Rails. Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or OpenStack.
