Job Title Sr. Developer

Summary Responsible for creating and ongoing management for the reports, data feeds, and other applications of organizationaEUR(TM)s accounting systems. Provides escalation support for troubleshooting of data anomalies, performance issues, and system error messages.



Principal Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions including reports, data feeds, and custom applications to meet design requirements using SQL scripting, SSRS, SSIS, or other tools as needed
• Create custom functions, stored procedures, and other database objects to meet design requirements
• Work closely with Business Analyst team to assist in solution design and provide gap analysis between specifications and system capabilities
• Troubleshoot escalated issues surrounding data anomalies, performance issues, and system error messages
• Tune database queries to optimize performance for large and complex data sets
• Assist with ensuring data integrity and baseline object consistency across multiple databases
• Author technical documentation surrounding internal processes and best practices
• Achieve development goals as defined by current sprint
• Attend daily scrum meetings and provide feedback on current task list and any blockers
• Keep abreast of industry technology trends and methodologies
• Provides training and guidance to junior team members

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of report and application development experience developing and designing custom solutions
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with MS SQL databases is required
• Experience working with real estate financial applications (Yardi, MRI, JDE Real Estate, etc.) is preferred
• Experience with full system development life cycle using Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of IT processes, general controls and project management
• Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and according to client expectations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required

Ability to reverse engineer code to troubleshoot issues
