Job Description


:The Sr. Customer Development Leader, dComm is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth through creating and executing business plans for our Pure Play customers & On-Demand-Delivery parties, which contributes to the overall MW NSV. The Sr. CDL is responsible for developing and maintaining strong and influential relationships with Amazon & ODD and collaborating internally with key stakeholders to deliver insights and solutions which help develop and execute mutually beneficial joint business plans and deliver sustainable growth. It requires a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for driving business growth.What are we are looking for?

  • Degree education with 5+ years relevant experience in selling, negotiating, account management and leveraging insights to deliver customer plans.
  • Digital commerce experience and understanding of the dComm landscape, as well as familiarity with Amazon\'s platform is an asset.
  • Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop long term, effective and influential business relationships with key decision makers, internally & externally.
  • Ability to assess needs, propose mutually beneficial solutions, overcome objections, with a positive mind-set and close sale to maximize mutual value.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and challenge the status quo with a solution-based attitude. Self-reliant, decisive, resilient and able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, dynamic environment.
What would be your responsibilities?dComm Strategy & Execution:
  • Lead the creation of a strategic growth plan to win in digital commerce with our pureplay customers & ODD parties while optimizing profitability and sales revenue.
  • Stay up to date with the latest e-commerce trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform the development of effective strategies.
  • Develop and implement product, pricing, promotional, and advertising strategies to optimize sales and profitability on customers platform.
Account Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Amazon Canada & ODD parties, fostering strong relationships and building a collaborative partnership.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets, profitability, and market share objectives. Monitor and analyze KPI\'s, sales data, and market trends to identify opportunities and address challenges.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Amazon Canada & ODD, providing insights, performance updates, and recommending strategies for growth.
  • Develop accurate and timely sales & trade forecasts using a variety of inputs from both consumption and shipment perspective, adopting a continuous improvement mind-set.
Sales and Business Development:
  • Provide direction and monitor performance of MW\'s Search & Media agency (Spotlight) on all our Search and DSP investments, aiming to achieve ROAS, CPC & other goals.Manage Search & Medi investments directly with ODD players.
  • Work in partnership with Marketing and Customer Activation on digital communication and full-funnel initiatives that give MW brands maximum exposure and conversion along the consumer journey.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Customer Activation, Supply Chain, Finance & Category teams, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
  • Execute new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximize customer impact in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with MW global partners on digital commerce, fast adapting where possible and being an active contributor to global initiatives.
Negotiation and Relationship Management:
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with key customers to maximize MW profitability and secure favorable terms for MW.
  • Collaborate with customer teams to ensure compliance with brand guidelines, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and resolve any operational or performance issues, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers support teams.
  • Work with Finance and 3rd party to resolve any deductions and claims.
  • Drive the customer agenda and develops strong and influential relationships with key customers focused on delivering shopper, channel and category-centric solutions which accelerate customer engagement.
