What you'll be doing

The Simplii Analytics & Insights team is seeking a Sr. Consultant Analytics & Insights to build and deliver compelling data driven stories. They will act as a strategic business partner, understand ambiguous requirements, and showcase the power of data by turning it into actionable recommendations. They will own specific projects and portfolios where deeper analysis is needed to understand the overall trends we are seeing in the business, and will provide insights to improve.

This position will work closely with our team of analysts, the product teams, and Simplii business leaders.

How you'll succeed

Deposit Analysis:

Responsible for the end-to-end tracking and measurement of deposit campaigns including but not limited to enrollment, account growth, balances changes, and retention

Update deposit campaign dashboards in Tableau and conduct adhoc analysis for stakeholders

Lines & Loans Analysis:

Responsible for tracking of our Lines (UPLC and SPLC) and Loans portfolio including but not limited to balances changes, utilization, credit limits, and pricing

Update Lines and Loans campaign dashboards in Tableau and conduct adhoc analysis for stakeholders

Collaborate with the Product, Risk, and ECICM teams to identify clients for targeting

Responsible for the extraction and analysis of complex information from a variety of databases.

Transform extracted data from large and disconnected datasets into insights suitable for presentation to various audiences.

Develop capabilities to identify areas of opportunity and improve business processes, data architecture and reporting efficiency.

Work collaboratively with business and analytics groups, on cross functional projects and data initiatives to solve business problems.

Design and implement models that provide insights into client behaviour

Extract, review and prepare data for analysis & reporting using SAS and Tableau

Who you are

You have a degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative fields

You can demonstrate experience in. Expert knowledge of SAS and SQL. Knowledge of advanced Excel functionality including pivot tables, charts, string manipulation, lookups, and filters. It's an asset if you have experience with visualization tools like Tableau.
