Our team members have what they need to make a meaningful impact and are truly valued for who they are and what they contribute.To learn more about CIBC, please visitWhat You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be DoingAs a Sr. Consultant, Client Tax Reporting & Foreign Tax Compliance, you will be joining CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s Wealth Client Operations, as a Senior Consultant, leading business support and driving client tax processing efficiencies across the team with a team of consultants and senior managers and their teams. You will be representing Tax Operations in various business growth initiatives and large-scale strategic partner programs and regulatory programs working with Taxation to understand new regulations and tax authority guidance and assessing its impact to current state processes. You will help to set up processes that support the ever changing regulatory landscape. You will act with urgency while exploring innovative ideas to deliver solutions that exceed client expectations.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You\xe2\x80\x99ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you\xe2\x80\x99ll spend 2-4 days per month on-site, while other days will be remote.How You\xe2\x80\x99ll SucceedUnderstanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners and external vendor to gather complex business requirements and facilitate discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements. Develop High-Level and Detailed Business Requirement documents and/or User Stories to define, explain and develop changes to Wealth Management systems.Analytical Thinking \xe2\x80\x93 Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Your experience should be sufficient to interpret requirements and identify risks to deliver accurate and complete requirements to both internal partners and external vendors.Lead - You will lead Projects & Initiatives and ensure that requirement work packages are delivered on time, within budget, and with quality, as agreed to by the Project/Program Manager and/or Operations Partner of the initiative. You will support Project work package deliverables and provide business analysis support through Requirements design and Testing.Program and Project Management - Support implementation of projects and programs by presenting business specific requirements and supporting change management activities.Who You AreYou embrace and advocate for change.
