The Sr. Project Coordinator at HKC Construction is a vital role within our project management team. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive support to our project managers and ensuring the seamless execution of our construction projects. The Sr. Project Coordinator serves as a linchpin between different facets of the project, playing a key role in bridging communication, planning, and execution.
In this role, you will:
Act as a central point of contact for project information, ensuring effective communication flows between all parties involved in the project.
Coordinate project planning and implementation, including identifying project phases, tasks, and requirements.
Play an active role in project meetings, including preparation, facilitation, and follow-up actions.
Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring that all project details are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
Oversee and coordinate the logistics of project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
Track project progress against timelines and budgets, alerting the project manager to any discrepancies or potential issues.
Contribute to the preparation of bids and proposals, offering insights and data critical to project planning and forecasting.
Support the project manager in maintaining project compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and procurement, to ensure a cohesive approach to project management.
Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, contributing to team efforts and company-wide initiatives.
This role requires a proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor a range of project activities, from initial planning to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
Assist in the development and tracking of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using advanced project management tools.
Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, documenting decisions and assigning action items.
Prepare detailed project documentation, including contracts, budget estimates, project plans, and status reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, working with the project manager to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
Coordinate the procurement of materials and services, ensuring adherence to project budgets and timelines.
Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide administrative support, such as filing, copying, and data entry, as needed to maintain project organization and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
At least 3 years of proven experience in project coordination within the construction sector, showcasing a track record of successful project delivery.
Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills to guide and influence project teams and stakeholders effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with construction management software like Procore or similar.
Solid understanding of construction methodologies, material procurement processes, and quality control practices.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is highly desirable

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
