What are we looking for?
We are looking for a
Sr.
Robotics and Coding Coach,
an energetic individual with an engaging personality who believes in our philosophy of learning and innovating in a fun environment. Our coaches are the lifeblood of our operation. You will join our team of coaches to teach coding & robotics based on our proven curriculum, and have the unique opportunity to shape the next generation of innovators and software engineers.
Requirements
Excellent oral communication. Upbeat, positive, energetic and works independently.
Good listener and strong influencer. Ability to inspire and lead others, and simplify complex abstract concepts into digestible, age-appropriate instruction.
At least 1-2 yrs experience teaching/coaching small groups of kids aged 12-18.
Solid expertise in STEM and programming languages such as Java, Java Script, Python, etc.
Facilitate the building and programming of complex robotic systems using platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or VEX EDR, integrating hardware with text-based code.
Skilled at building & programming mechanical models like LEGO robots creatively.
Pre-employment background check is required.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching Coding & Robotics based on our proven curriculum.
Creating a positive and safe environment where innovation is encouraged.
Continuously tracking student progress and providing feedback to students and parents.
Timing:
Our evening programs are typically from 4:30pm to 7:30pm Monday thru Friday and from 10:00am to 1:00pm Saturday-Sunday.
