Robert Half is partnering with an industry leading client seeking an experienced Senior AR (Accounts Receivable) and Credit Specialist to join their team within the dynamic agriculture industry. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in credit management, AR processes, and process improvement. In addition to managing daily AR and credit responsibilities, the specialist will play a critical role in driving efficiency by leading implementation projects and automating processes to ensure scalability, precision, and optimized cash flow management.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable Management:

• Oversee full-cycle AR processes, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of AR balances.
• Monitor aging reports and conduct proactive follow-ups on overdue accounts to mitigate risk and improve cash flow.

Credit Management:

• Evaluate and approve customer credit applications by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documentation.
• Establish and enforce credit limits while ensuring compliance with company policies and risk tolerance.
• Partner with sales and customer service teams to address credit-related inquiries and maintain strong client relationships.

Process Automation & System Implementation:

• Lead the design, implementation, and enhancements of AR and credit management systems, including ERP integrations or upgrades.
• Assess current workflows and identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and third-party vendors to implement new tools or optimization features.

Project Leadership:

• Initiate and drive AR and credit process improvement projects to adapt to the evolving needs of the agriculture industry.
• Serve as a project lead for credit risk management or cash flow optimization initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of new systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Develop and maintain detailed AR and credit reports, including DSO (days sales outstanding) metrics and borrowing base data.
• Provide actionable insights through analysis of customer payment trends, delinquency risks, and overall AR performance.
• Prepare compliance and regulatory reporting specific to the agriculture industry as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or credit management; previous experience with automation tools or implementation projects preferred.
• Industry knowledge of the agriculture sector and its unique credit/risk challenges is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Excel.
• Experience with AR/credit automation processes
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
