:We are providing an opportunity for an experienced Sr. Accountant in the Real Estate & Property industry based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role involves the processing of intricate financial information, maintaining precise records, and addressing financial queries.Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate processing of financial data, including customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records meticulously
• Investigate and resolve complex financial inquiries from customers
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on their status
• Assist with wrapping up the year-end financials
• Organize bank statements and post bank reconciliations
• Handle complex bank accounts requiring detailed investigation
• Manage USD payments and currency conversions
• Oversee loan payments and loan payment schedules
• Process GST filings for specified months
• Handle communication with banks for financials
• Ensure year-end postings and closings are carried out accurately
• File workers' compensation board reports
• Undertake reconciliation tasks through Excel
• Generate manual invoices to ensure payment is received
• Assist with commercial tenant bookkeeping in the MRI software.

• Proven experience in the Real Estate & Property industry
• Expertise in Senior Accountant role
• Proficiency in Full Cycle Accounting
• Knowledge and practical experience with Tax - GST
• Proficiency in using Sage 300
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
