Job Description
:This 3 month contract role is looking to hire a strong Senior Accountant who is comfortable with full cycle accounting working in a complex environment.
- Responsible for the recording and reconciliation of Accounts Payables, General and Administrative expenses including credit card reports, intercompany transactions.
- Investigate into discrepancies, unreconciled balances and resolve related accounting issues.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Prepare working paper files and support the year end audit work.
- Address ad hoc project related work as needed.
- CPA designation or working towards CPA is highly regarded
- Strong working experience as Senior Accountant with full-cycle accounting experience and Accounts Payable work.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Likes to work with a lot of data and delving into the details.
- Real estate experience would be considered an asset.
- Experience working with Yardi Voyageur is highly advantageous
