Robert Half Management Resources is the worldwide leader in specialized consulting and staffing services for senior-level accounting, finance and business systems professionals.
Our software client is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst for a two-month term with the possibility of extension. In this role you will perform a variety of accounting duties in a complex, multi-entity business.
The Senior Accounting Analyst's duties will include:
Creating and processing a intercompany invoices, ensuring proper documentation and coordination across subsidiaries
Preparing monthly financial close deliverables, including journal entries, reconciliations, and close checklists.
Overseeing intercompany balancing by liaising with finance teams across portfolio companies
Tracking, archiving, and reviewing invoices for proper expense approvals, updating internal records in accounting systems with correct GL codes.
Maintaining, monitoring, and processing invoice payments through various banking systems.
Support process improvement initiatives related to monthly close, accounts payable, and more.
Other duties as required
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Postsecondary education in a relevant field
At least 5 years of experience in full cycle accounting and accounts payable.
Working knowledge of Netsuite a strong asset
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong numeracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Highly organized with strong time management and organizational skills
