Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, cost and inventory analysis, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Apply today!Responsibilities- Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)- Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners- Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testingRequirements:- Journal entries experience preferred- Background working with budgeting- Previous experience working with SAP B1 - Business One- Financial Statement experience preferred- Earlier work involving cash flow statements- Solid understanding of general ledger- General familiarity with financial reporting- Demonstrated knowledge of cash management- Adeptness in Asset Inventory- Good understanding of Profit and loss- Costing experience highly preferred- Strong familiarity with month end closings- Practical knowledge of Construction Cost- Financial statement preparation experience- 5+ years of overall general accounting experience- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems- Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment- Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required- Financial reporting systems proficiency is a plus- Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines- Proficient in ERP systems- Ability to work well with functional department managers
