About the Role


Are you passionate about sports, rehabilitation, performance, and helping people reach their potential? We're looking for a motivated professional to join our clinic as a Sports Performance & Vision Training Specialist. If you have a background in

kinesiology, athletic therapy, or sport science

that is considered an asset.

You'll work with:

Concussion and neuro-rehab patients

(post-MVA, stroke recovery, etc.) Individuals with

ADHD, autism, or developmental vision needs

(e.g., lazy eye)

Athletes (especially hockey players)

to improve reaction time, focus, and performance
No vision therapy experience required -- full training provided.

What We're Looking For



Degree or background in kinesiology, athletic therapy, exercise science, or related field is considered an asset Must possess patience and compassion for symptomatic patients Passion for sports (bonus if you love hockey!) Strong communication skills & ability to connect with patients (children with learning disabilities, and adults with concussions, binocular vision disorders, etc.) Excitement to learn and apply innovative performance & therapy methods

Key Responsibilities



Conduct

initial and progress assessments

to evaluate vision, cognition, and performance skills Design and implement

individualized therapy and training programs

for patients and athletes Complete

progress notes and written reports

, including forms to assist with return-to-work, return-to-school, and driving clearance planning Deliver

one-on-one and group training sessions

in-clinic and occasionally off-site (e.g., gyms, rinks, and other facilities) Track patient/athlete progress and adjust programming as needed Collaborate with the clinical team to support

concussion management and neurorehabilitation goals

Coordinate

appointments, follow-up care, and communication

with patients, parents, and coaches Create a positive, motivating, and supportive environment for all patients and athletes
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
