Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and swimming, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in developing students' skills, confidence, and love for swimming while ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of individual students or groups. Teach swimming techniques, safety protocols, and water confidence to participants. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by adhering to safety guidelines. Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that fosters learning and growth. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Proven experience in teaching or coaching, preferably in swimming or aquatic environments. Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, safety practices, and instructional methods. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse age groups. Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching others. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
