We are looking for instructors for the following hospitality classes:
  • Fridays 9AM - 3PM (3hrs per week) - Sport Tourism
  • Fridays 12PM - 3PM (3hrs per week) - Sport Tourism
  • Saturdays 12PM - 3PM (3hrs per week) - Principles of Customer Service for Hospitality
What You'll Do:
  • Develop a course outline, teaching resources (when not available), and assignments (when not available).
  • Upload assignments and grading schema to our Learning Management System, AMPeducator.
  • Teach students using a diverse and systematic plan of lectures, presentations, demonstrations, discussion groups, case studies, field assignments and independent or group projects.
  • Maintain accurate weekly attendance.
  • Prepare, administer and mark learning assessments.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field (A Diploma will be considered depending on work experience)
  • 5 years of experience professional working experience.
  • 2 of years teaching OR training experience.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes fast; we are a technology based college and are looking for someone who can independently manage our LMS after training.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Genuinely passionate about contributing to students learning process.
Compensation is based on:
  • Level of education, training, and certifications.
  • Years of teaching experience.
  • Years of relevant work experience.
