ISAFF is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship Manager to lead our sponsorship efforts for the 2026 festival.
This senior role is responsible for developing and executing the full sponsorship strategy, from identifying prospects to closing sponsorships and managing partner relationships. The ideal candidate is a strong closer, a strategic thinker, and passionate about arts and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and implement a sponsorship strategy aligned with ISAFF 2026's goals and growth targets.
Research, identify, and secure corporate sponsors, local businesses, cultural organizations, and government partners.
Lead sponsorship outreach, proposal development, customized pitching, and contract negotiations.
Manage all sponsor relationships from first contact to post-festival stewardship.
Ensure timely delivery of all sponsor benefits including signage, activations, speaking opportunities, and digital presence.
Collaborate closely with marketing, production, and programming teams to ensure brand alignment and high-value activation opportunities.
Oversee tracking of sponsorship pipeline, signed agreements, and deliverables.
Prepare post-event impact reports and recognition materials for sponsors.
Attend key ISAFF 2026 events to personally steward sponsor engagement and visibility.
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in sponsorship sales, fundraising, business development, or partnership management.
Proven track record of closing sponsorship deals and meeting or exceeding financial targets.
Strong written, verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, festival environment.
Passion for the arts, film, culture, and community building -- especially within the South Asian diaspora.
Familiarity with CRM tools, event sponsorship tracking, or sponsorship management software is an asset.
Contract Details:
Timeline: January 2026 - October 2026 (flexible start depending on availability)
Time Commitment: Approximately 8-12 hours per week, with increased involvement closer to festival dates
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience (stipend, commission, or honorarium)
