The Headlines:

As a SUMMER SPONSORSHIP & EVENTS Representative in Ontario, Canada you will be exposed to the ever growing, fast paced beverage industry. You will engage in real-world problem-solving and be immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns.

The internship is full-time, beginning in May through August. Upon graduation interns may be eligible for full-time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company.

The Responsibilities:

Experience sales team training to develop your professional skill set with a focus on sales and marketing, the consumer, and analytics

Execution of Promotions and Events -Lead/ Support with the execution of core programming for Molson Coors in at Local Events (Golf Tournaments, Concerts, and Festivals)

Merchandising - Setting up signage, merchandise, and promotional materials at events.

Create relationships by working with preferred vendors on projects

Reporting - Understanding and identifying business performance, distribution, and volume opportunities within on-premises customers.

Responsible for maintenance of asset/d\xc3\xa9cor/prop/tool storage lockers

Represent Molson Coors as a brand ambassador with our consumers, customers, and members within your community

Research - Research competitive events in the region that our competitors are involved in that are a better fit for our brands

You will be part of a small group that will be responsible to present key insights and recommendations to build on the role of Summer Sponsorship and Events Representative and present to MCBC Leaders at the end of the summer.

The Other Qualifications:

You are a third or fourth year pursuing a University or College degree

You have the ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule if needed, including some evenings and weekends and light travel

You have a valid driver\'s license with no limitations/restrictions. You will be required to provide a recent copy of a Driver\'s Abstract You have (or can get) your Smart Serve Certificate (or provincial equivalent)

You are comfortable driving larger vehicles e.g., SUV or Cargo Van

You can easily lift to 50lbs

You are comfortable with 4hours+ per driving one way, but no more than 5 hours at once (Ex: Toronto to Ottawa for Events)

You are a resident of (or familiar with) assigned territory

You have an innate ability to build empathy with consumers, in particular millennials and diverse consumers.

You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome

You take accountability for results - acting with integrity and honoring commitments

You have a thirst for learning - you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
