Job Description
As a Splicer in our Wire Rope department, you will be working closely with the team, in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities:
You will be manufacturing wire rope slings and assemblies, coiling or reeling wire rope. This will involve measuring, cutting, marking, forming wire rope slings and assemblies. Selecting and assembling proper materials. Prepare customer orders. Proper use of swaging, coiling and material handling equipment. General Housekeeping and inventory control tasks. Objective to grow the business, through providing good customer service. Cross training on chain slings, shipping & receiving functions to allow seamless coverage for vacation/illness or high volume periods. Job involves standing, bending, lifting.Requirement:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. This is a physical job. Worker will be standing for the shift. Forklift licence considered an asset. Good Math skills required. Job involves calculating, measuring and marking.Other Details:
