We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate neurodiversity-affirming Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The primary need is for a pediatric SLP who is available to see clients on the weekends, or during the after school hours at our office in Richmond. However, there may also be opportunities for weekday hours, community services, teletherapy, or for those who want to work with adults.
Advantage SLP is a private clinic based out of the Steveston area. Our large team of therapists provides services in over 10 different languages, providing quality care in our office, over teletherapy and in the community. We see clients of all ages, from infants to seniors, with a wide range of communication, oral motor, or feeding/swallowing needs.
Services are provided 7 days/week, and there is a very supportive administrative team available. There are many opportunities for mentorship and career growth.
Duties
Assess clients' speech, language, cognitive-communication or swallowing abilities
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
Monitor progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Document all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in accordance with CHCPBC regulations.
Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication at home and in the community
Experience / Additional Skils
Prior experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist is preferred. However, newer graduates are welcome to apply and mentorship will be provided.
Candidates should be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
Registration on the RASP (Registry of Autism Service Providers) is an asset: supervision is available if required.
The ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an asset.

Pay: $101.75-$110.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 - 15 per week
