Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. Duties



Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions, mouth breathing . Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide direct therapy services to pediatric and adult patients in clinics. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and swallowing techniques for improved quality of life. Document patient assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in case management activities to facilitate comprehensive care planning and resource coordination.

Qualifications



Valid license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in the relevant state or region. Prior experience working in hospital or acute care settings is preferred. Experience with pediatric populations is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech therapy and patient care. Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education. Demonstrated compassion and professionalism in delivering patient-centered care.
