Speakable is looking for a paediatric speech-language pathologist to provide home-visits in the East End of Toronto. The role is extremely flexible and ideal for someone who would like to have control over their desired caseload size and schedule, without the stress of billing or client intakes.
Responsibilities
Provides in-home services
Administers informal and formal assessments
Conducts in-home therapy
Monitors client progress and adjusts treatment accordingly
Knowledge of evidence based practices
Builds rapport and provides ongoing feedback, education and home programming
Maintains records in accordance with the rules and regulations of CASLPO
Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Registered and in good standing with CASLPO
Professional Liability insurance
Paediatric experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Clinical reasoning skills with the ability to work with a high degree of independence
Strong organization and time management skills
