Speech Language Pathologist

Edmonton, AB, CA, Canada

Job Description

Job Title:

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Flexible Schedule | Pediatric Clinic

Location: Edmonton, AB (in Strathearn)

About Us

We're a small and close-knit team who believes that when children feel safe, understood, and supported, they grow in incredible ways. At Dream Pediatric Services, we focus on play-based, family-centered therapy and working together as a team to help kids and their families feel confident and connected.

Our clinic in Strathearn is a fun, bright, welcoming space where SLPs, OTs, PTs, and families come together to make real progress through meaningful work. We take pride in creating a supportive environment where clinicians have the time and tools they need to do their best work -- without the burnout that can come with doing it all alone.

About the Role

We're looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join us part-time, with flexible hours on Wednesdays, Thursdays, some evenings, and occasional weekends. You'll be able to build your caseload gradually and have a say in how your schedule looks.

This role is fully in-clinic with administrative support handled on our end so you can focus on your clients. You'll also have the support of an SLP-Assistant and work alongside a team of SLPs, OTs, and PTs who value communication and collaboration.

All therapy materials and tools, from toys and assessments to craft supplies and games, are here and ready to go.

What We Offer

$80-$95/hour, based on experience Flexible schedule with room to grow your caseload at your own pace Access to an SLP-Assistant to support prep and therapy if desired A collaborative team of SLPs, OTs, and PTs who value shared learning Administrative and EMR support provided (no extra paperwork at home) Well-equipped, cozy, child-friendly therapy spaces with a wide range of resources and tools Opportunities for mentorship and peer support if that's something you value A workplace that genuinely cares about balance, connection, and doing good work
Who We're Looking For

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Registered and in good standing with ACSLPA Minimum 2 years of experience working with children ages 0-5 (required) 5+ years of pediatric experience preferred Someone who values play, connection, and meeting kids where they're at Comfortable working collaboratively with families and other therapists Organized, kind, and genuinely invested in helping kids thrive
What You'll Be Doing

Provide speech and language assessment and therapy for children ages 0-5 Work closely with families to build practical, meaningful goals Collaborate with other therapists to support shared clients Use our EMR system to document sessions Contribute your ideas and voice to a team that values input and shared learning
Why Work With Us

We're not a big agency or a huge private practice churning through sessions. We're a team of people who care deeply about the kids and families we work with and about the clinicians who make that work possible.

If you're looking for a place where your skills are valued, your time is respected, and your work genuinely matters, we'd love to meet you.

A Note from Britt:

Hi, I'm Britt! I started Dream Pediatric Services because I wanted to create the kind of workplace I wished I'd had earlier in my career- a place where kids and families feel supported, and where therapists have the time and space to do their best work without sacrificing their own well-being.

I believe in keeping therapy playful and meaningful, in trusting our clinical instincts, and in showing up for families in a way that's real and human. If this sounds like the kind of team you'd like to be part of, I'd truly love to hear from you.
