November 5, 2025 For the position of Speech-Language Pathologist (part-time) Reporting to the Owner / Clinic Manager Start date: immediate The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical services (assessment, treatment, consultation) in English and French to preschool and school-aged children with communication difficulties, differences, and disorders. Services will be based out of Shoreline's clinic in Dartmouth and will include both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. The clinician's caseload will include clients with a variety of needs including in the areas of social communication, speech, language, fluency, and literacy. The working hours for this position will be discussed during the interview but would include availability to see clients two evenings a week (3-7pm) and Sundays from 9am-4pm. Scheduling of associated indirect time is flexible (e.g., prep, documentation). The successful candidate must be licensed with the Nova Scotia Regulator of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology and meet and maintain all requirements to practice in Nova Scotia. Requirements: - a recent criminal record check including vulnerable sector check
- a recent Child Abuse Registry check
- evidence of Professional Liability Insurance (amount as per NSRASLP's requirements)
- confirmation that they've had their annual flu shot and will renew the same annually
- evidence that they are or will be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and will renew the same annually (or according to recommendations from NS Health) Assets:
- experience in other jurisdictions (e.g., other Canadian provinces)
- ability to bring a diverse perspective to our team
- participation in the profession outside of clinical work (e.g., involvement with professional association, nonprofit or other community group, regulatory college, or research) Qualities that we look for:
