Overview

We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for helping patients improve their communication and expereince with assessing, diagnoising, planning, and implementing treatment plans. This position offers the opportunity to have flexible hours, while working in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Duties

Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients Maintaining appropriate and timely documentation, records, and reports Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care Adhering to professionalism guidelines (i.e., maintaining appropriate and professional interactions with clients, parents, staff, and other individuals, in home, office & community environments)

Ideal Candidate

Comfortable working independently, as well as with a multidisciplinary team Experience working with children and neurodiverse populations Knowledge and experience with assessing and treating speech sound delays, receptive and expressive language delays, social language delays, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective organizational, decision-making, and time management skills Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Minimal Job Requirements

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Must be registered and maintain good standing with Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle Must have a current Police Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check, and a Child Intervention Record Check upon hire

Additional Requirements

Experience with FSCD contracts is an asset
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Casual

Pay: $80.00-$110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 30 per week
