Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based assessment and therapeutic interventions for pediatric clients, including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role offers the opportunity to support children's communication, social engagement, and overall development while working in a dynamic, interdisciplinary, and supportive environment.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and/or communication assessments for pediatric clients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths, needs, and goals. Deliver direct therapy addressing speech sound production, language development, social communication, AAC use,, and/or fluency skills. Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, behavior therapists, and other healthcare team members to provide coordinated care. Educate and coach families on strategies to support communication and feeding goals at home. Monitor, document, and report on patient progress in accordance with professional standards and facility policies. Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging therapy environment that supports pediatric learning and development.

Skills

Must be registered and in good standing with the

College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)

. Experience working with

pediatric populations

, including children with

ASD

, developmental delays, and communication disorders. Strong understanding of speech-language development, AAC, sensory-communication needs, and play-based therapy approaches. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging children and collaborating with families. Ability to work effectively within a

multidisciplinary team

. Strong organizational skills for timely documentation and progress tracking. Compassionate, child-centered approach with a genuine commitment to improving communication, participation, and overall quality of life.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $70.00-$95.00 per hour
