Speech Language Pathologist (remote) Aba Multidisciplinary Team

Remote, CA, Canada

Job Description

Northern Star Behaviour Services, an ABA multidisciplinary pediatric therapy program located in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our current team of pediatric specialists as a remote consultant team member. We provide personalized care based on an individual assessment and treatment plan with ongoing follow-up and supervision. Each child's program is designed around his or her preferences and strengths, so that treatment is positive, motivating, and achievable. We believe in open communication and person-centeredness. The treatment of the core symptoms of autism is a process that involves collaboration and ongoing consent. We are committed to a therapeutic approach which provides patients and their families the opportunity to be heard and understand the process at every step. We have an amazing group of specialists and as we are growing we are seeking additional professionals that have worked with children with mild/mod disabilities for our team, with specialties regarding autism considered a strong asset.

While the current role is remote and casual, there is opportunity to grow this role as our patient population grows and we are open to the discussion of more hours in the future for the right candidate.

Our services are being safely provided in person in our play-based in-home model, with interdisciplinary staff members providing virtual support (e.g., Zoom) when required.

If you are looking to join a multi-disciplinary team in a work environment that provides a high level of job satisfaction working with a rewarding caseload of young children and their families, you are encouraged to apply.
