We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and have experience in various settings . This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities of patients.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing functions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
Provide case management services to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families about speech-language disorders and treatment options.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with medical standards.
Skills
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
Familiarity with case management processes to effectively coordinate patient care.
Background in pediatrics is preferred for working with younger populations.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
