The OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre is a vibrant, not-for-profit organization providing clinical intervention and support services to children with a variety of developmental conditions.
We work in a family-centered, child-focused environment and enjoy close community partnerships. We are continuously evolving to reflect the best practices of intervention. This SLP role functions as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and will require that our Centre's vision and values be represented with spirit and professionalism.
We are seeking a team member who believes in clinical collaboration and knowledge sharing. Effective partnerships with families require strong communication skills and clinical experience.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Membership in the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
Registered or eligible for the RASP
Ability to lead or co-lead groups with children and or caregivers
Two years of paediatric experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Clinical judgment and competence (i.,.: implementing functional and measurable goals towards meaningful outcomes)
Acceptable Criminal Record Check
Valid Driver's License
