The Marketing Revenue team is currently seeking qualified candidates, for the position of Specialist, Revenue Management to join their team in Mississauga. We are looking for an individual with a strong business analysis and financial background. This candidate will be responsible to develop and maintain revenue models\' supporting the organization\'s budgeting and forecasting infrastructure, complete data analytics, and understand key business drivers. This position will work closely with finance on revenue planning and budgets.

Candidates may have to pass an Intermediate Excel test to qualify for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop financial forecasts (monthly forecast/outlook, annual budget, multi-year plan) and perform ad-hoc planning analysis
  • Identify key revenue drivers (rate and volume) of Bell services and collaborate with partners to establish accurate reporting and forecasts
  • Analysis of daily/weekly results across key rate and volume drivers to identify opportunities and generate useful insights to help establish business direction with partners and improve the financial performance of the business
  • Manage the financial performance of the portfolio with regular weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis and associated variance analysis
  • Provide input to strategic planning, business planning and budgeting exercises
  • Monitor and evaluate the telecommunications market, including competitive and customer analysis, in order to identify business opportunities and support decisions relating to pricing and marketing programs
  • Develop a strong working relationship and collaborate with partners in marketing, pricing, finance, and revenue management teams
Critical Qualifications
  • Mastering Excel is a must (advanced knowledge)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to craft compelling presentations for senior management and make recommendations with confidence
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to transform raw data into actionable intelligence
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making at various levels of the organization
  • Autonomy and ability to manage and drive projects with limited supervision and to manage multiple projects in an organized manner
Preferred Qualifications
  • University degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, engineering or a related area; MBA or professional designation (CA, CPA, CFA) would be considered an asset
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or performance management roles; expertise in telecommunications industry would be considered an asset
