The TDBG Organization Effectiveness Advisory & Governance Team (OE) is a Centre of Excellence which supports businesses across the enterprise on the analysis, development and implementation of organization design and organization effectiveness initiatives and corresponding governance policies. The OE team operates as an internal consulting practice and works closely with HR business partners and senior business leaders to support business strategy and sustained performance.
About this Role As a member of the OE Governance team, you will work to solve our business leaders\xe2\x80\x99 organization design and effectiveness challenges through leveraging best-in- class industry research. You will play a pivotal role in supporting organization design projects across our entire enterprise and/or specific business units, including: developing research models, contribute to the stand up of a research service offering, assembling research and insights, developing actionable recommendations and preparing presentations and documents. As a respected OE Specialist, you are well positioned as a professional who has strong business acumen, analysis, communications and stakeholder management skills. Reporting to the Manager, OE Governance, your primary accountabilities include:
  • Own / manage and facilitate the development of internal / external research that will evolve our offering
  • Maintain currency and stay well-informed on leading practices and industry trends related to organization effectiveness
  • Look to develop / implement research models / tools to conduct meaningful research that will support the creation of valuable products / creative solutions for our business partners
  • Leverage internal and external research tools (internal data repositories, Gartner, Bersin, etc.) to summarize and materialize relevant data points for initiatives across OE
  • Providing day to day consulting support to Senior Advisors on research regarding specific industry norms for portfolio aligned reviews
  • Leading alignment efforts across stakeholders and managing logistics to execute specialized OE consulting projects and programs.
  • Performing research and analysis for OE initiatives related to organization design, spans and layers, and related activities
  • Conducting collection of meaningful data and/or research, performing due diligence and incorporating into the development of organization design recommendations
  • Preparing organizational analytics to identify structural and organizational systemic issues and opportunities
Requirements
What can you bring to TD? You\xe2\x80\x99re a confident professional with research and qualitative data analysis skills, and an articulate communicator (written and oral) who can serve as a \xe2\x80\x98point person\xe2\x80\x99 for OE consulting projects, and possesses the following:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in organization design, organization effectiveness, or human capital strategies and projects. Consulting experience preferred.
  • Formal research experience is an asset
  • A strong ability to understand how organizations function and how organization effectiveness is enabled. Ability to anticipate the longer-term impact of decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving
  • Ability to solve ambiguous, complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, including consultation with multiple stakeholders
  • High proficiency in qualitative data analysis, using results to draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Ability to organize and present complex information/concepts in a persuasive manner, tailored to the audience
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • Strong results-oriented project management skills; well organized, with a high attention to detail.
  • High-level expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential.
  • Undergraduate degree in HR, or Organizational Development / Behaviour. Post graduate degree is an asset. #LI-Hybrid
