Summary

Canada is a diverse country with a growing multicultural population that is projected to continue to grow into the future and is expected to welcome over 400,000 new permanent residents in each of the next 3 years. Bell Consumer is looking to cater to both newcomers to Canada, International students and multicultural communities, and is developing a new & customized approach to ensure that customers can be served in the way they want to be served.

As our Specialist, Multicultural Channel Strategy, you will be responsible for managing the channel strategy of multicultural programs end to end to create awareness amongst multicultural communities and support growth in the multicultural segment. This includes working with internal groups including marketing, pricing and channel execution teams as well as external organisations that partner with newcomers, and multicultural populations. Your unique insights & knowledge about these segments will be critical to driving success of this portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, reporting, compensation, and channel execution to develop and execute an effective channel strategy;
  • Analyze data, market trends and customer behaviour to effectively identify opportunities & share insights to support sales and operations groups;
  • Optimize plans based on key performance metrics and communicate out results to key stakeholders;
  • Communicate project and initiatives status to business unit and executive teams.
Critical Qualifications
  • A subject matter expert of multicultural segments, communities, channels that influence their shopping behaviour and understands the nuances;
  • Strong communication and presentation building skills with capacity to present at executive level;
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a metrics environment;
  • Possess very strong attention to detail;
  • Previous experience driving partnerships in segmentation and targeting in a data-driven environment;
  • Data analysis skills (using excel).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business degree with at 3+ years of experience preferred;
  • Possess previous wireless and telecommunication experience an asset;
  • Knowledge in South Asian and/or Chinese languages an asset;
  • Project Management skills.
