The Impact You'll Make:
The PC Optimum Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Specialist to support our Partnerships Marketing portfolio with a high degree of attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple partners marketing portfolios. This person is passionate about developing and supporting with groundbreaking partner and customer focused marketing campaigns to deliver relevant member communications at scale. This person will juggle a number of responsibilities, including owning campaigns strategy & execution, briefing and proofing creative while managing stakeholders, and presenting post partner campaign reporting. The successful candidate will join a cross-functional group of high-performers who are driven to raise the bar, think outside the box, and grow PC Optimum from all facets of brand, lifecycle, and partnership marketing. We are looking for someone who is driven to get things done faster, smarter and more efficiently by putting PC Optimum members at the center of every decision they make.
What You'll Do:
Manage end-to-end partner marketing campaigns, from strategy development to execution and reporting, across a number of offline and online marketing channels
Bring insights to the table around partnership marketing such as competitor marketing to help improve current and future marketing initiatives for each partner. Consider how new tests and learns can be implemented, measured and scaled to support the needs of each partnership
Develop customer-focused and insightful creative briefs that inspire internal and external agencies.
Share, proof, review creative and manage multiple stakeholders feedback in a timely and efficient manner
In partnership with the Manager, develop annual marketing specific plans for each partner
Be the Partnerships Marketing lead of major initiatives within PC Optimum and enterprise wide, such as Moredays and other specific offers during the year.
Work in partnership with our Brand and Lifecycle PC Optimum marketing team and Cross-functional grocery divisions to secure marketing tactic placements, brief, and deliver assets to support marketing placement opportunities for our partners
Collaborate within our marketing team, cross-functional groups and external partners, including Digital Messaging, Loblaw Agency, Loblaw Media, divisional and portfolio teams.
Handle projects through all internal processes ensuring they are organized and on track including legal review, translations, workback schedule development etc.
Report on campaign performance, provide monthly marketing recaps, etc. to our partners highlighting what's worked, not worked and area of opportunities
Contribute to the achievement of business objectives, brand objectives, strategies and KPI's
Strategically partner with Divisional grocery banners and Lines of Businesses teams to co-collaborate and develop brand campaigns to drive enterprise convergence and PC Optimum partnership marketing messaging throughout their channels.
What You Bring:
2-5 years of meaningful work experience in partnership marketing, loyalty marketing, CPG/grocery marketing, or customer-based management role.
Experience in navigating teams in a large matrix organization
Experience, understanding and continual curiosity in the space of digital marketing platforms, innovation and consumer engagement
Excellent presentation skills, as the role requires internal and external presentations to various stakeholders
Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals and build relationships
Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
An aptitude for data and insights with abilities to analyze data to provide key insights to inform marketing decisions
Proactive individual with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple and sophisticated projects
Good judgment and experience in the development of creative/communications, including brand standards, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence others
