Job Description


Here\'s what you\'ll be doing....You\'ll execute marketing strategies across UTP product types, imprints and titles, supporting overall goals and strategic objectives to enhance brand recognition, reputation and revenue.*For this position, we currently have the option of working totally in office or in a hybrid model.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Support UTP product portfolio through excellent writing and project management skills
  • Develop and deliver impactful product messaging and content, implementing effective marketing initiatives to support strategic objectives
  • Execute direct email and newsletter campaigns, content marketing initiatives, press releases, new content alerts, and special promotions
  • Advise on marketing and communications best practices, brand-building opportunities, and digital outreach strategies, including social media growth
  • Build and strengthen relationships with authors and journal editors, promoting UTP content effectively on their behalf
  • Contribute to strategies that enhance the author experience, driving author recruitment and article submissions
  • Analyze marketing data to ensure effectiveness and maximize return on investment (ROI) for ongoing marketing initiatives
  • Maintain excellent relationships with external partners and collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders, including sales, production, distribution, and editorial teams
  • Other related duties
Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
  • Post-secondary graduate, or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on content creation and project management
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, including social media and email campaigns
