The Toronto Region Board of Trade is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Marketing & Communications Specialist
to join the Communications & Marketing team. This position supports the planning and execution of marketing and communications initiatives designed to promote the Board's events, programs, and membership offerings.
The Marketing & Communication Specialist will collaborate with team members, internal stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high-quality communications, content, and campaigns. This includes responsibilities across editorial coordination, media relations, social media management, email marketing, branded content development, and campaign performance reporting.
Role Description:
Maintain and update the Board's weekly and long-term communications calendar and reporting tools to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Manage the Board's email marketing platform, including the design, setup, and delivery of newsletters and marketing campaigns.
Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly analytics and campaign performance reports, providing insights and recommendations.
Develop promotional packages and create social media content for events, programs, and membership initiatives.
Liaise with external agencies and vendors to produce creative assets and branded content across multiple channels.
Contribute to the ideation, copywriting, and development of marketing materials.
Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns to support organizational objectives.
Your experience includes:
3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in social media management and content creation.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms and analytics tools.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for various platforms and audiences.
Basic understanding of performance analytics and campaign reporting.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience with design and multimedia tools (e.g., Canva, InDesign, video editing) considered an asset.
