The Specialist, Employee Engagement & Enablement plays a critical role in the support, coordination, and administration of Talent and L&D programs that drive performance, engagement, and enhance the employee experience.


Working in a hybrid environment based in Toronto and reporting to the Director, Employee Engagement & Enablement, the Specialist will contribute to talent programs across the IGM Group of Companies (Mackenzie Investments, IG Wealth Management and in partnership with the Investment Planning Counsel).


KEY ACCOUNTABILITES:


Learning Technology Platform Management (50%)

  • Drive learning platform usage and course offering adoption through communications, marketing, and internal social channels
  • Manage and support the needs of learning communities and business partners
  • Act as the systems administrator and manage the operations, reporting, troubleshooting and support for users of the Learning Technology Platform
  • Publish, test, and assign online courses related to compliance and onboarding
  • Create and launch registration for online and in-person learning experiences
  • Create, launch, and manage course evaluations and reporting
  • Manage the Digital Badging/Credentials platform and distribute credentials for IGM learning experiences
  • Run reports and provide insights into registration and user uptake



Talent Programs (25%)
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to support project management, end-to-end delivery, logistics and execution of programs such as New Employee Onboarding and Orientation, Employer Award submissions, and Employer Branding
  • Contribute to other special projects for the Employee Engagement & Enablement team



Event Management (15%)
  • Support the planning, logistics, and execution of online and in-person training



Administration (10%)
  • Partner with the team on financial and budgetary activities (vendor management, budgeting, processing, and tracking invoices)
  • Monitor and triage the team mailbox
  • Support other administrative activities as assigned


EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
  • 1+ year of experience in an office environment with some administration experience. Exposure to the financial services industry would be considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a business-related discipline an asset.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning experience platforms (LXP), virtual meeting, and event planning platforms would be an asset.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a changing and dynamic environment with evolving systems, procedures, and precise deadlines.
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and strong planning skills
  • Superior collaboration skills and ability to interact effectively across teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills
