Reporting to the Lead, Integrated Management System, the Documented Information Specialist is responsible for the coordination of all document control and records management processes in support of NexGen’s Rook I Project (Project). This role will work closely with key Project team stakeholders and subject-matter experts to ensure the maintenance of internally generated documentation is in alignment and conformance with the Rook I Integrated Management System (IMS) and established regulatory requirements. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
( INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO) : Lead the ongoing development and improvement of processes related to document control and records management Manage all document control processes including the maintenance and registration of internally generated documentation, creation of review and approval workflows, and the oversight of document revision control Prepare documentation for entry into the Electronic Data Management System by performing quality checks and various levels of formatting and editing Provide audit support, data analysis, and training on document control and records management processes Collaborate with various Project team stakeholders and subject matter experts in the development and maintenance of a Project records management registry Generate various document control and records management reports as required Maintain updated records of all approved documents, and ensure the latest version are provided to appropriate staff, contractors, and suppliers when requested Create and maintain document filing systems to support the Project in accordance with company policies, procedures, and processes Liaise with the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management teams to generate and coordinate the correspondence of technical documentation for the Project Other duties as assigned ROLE OVERVIEW

C A EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Recognized degree, diploma, or certificate in a related discipline from an accredited university or college Minimum 3-5 years of document management or project administrative experience Experience in a heavy industrial (i.e., mining, mineral, oil, and gas, or chemical), engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment Experience in a regulated nuclear environment is highly preferred Knowledge of project services reporting, and document types would be an asset Advanced word processing skills and experience with related software (e.g., Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat x Pro, Outlook, Access, SharePoint, and Visio) Experience working with Electronic Document Management Systems Project management and leadership skills (ability to collaborate and provide team leadership towards established timelines) Understanding of relevant regulations and standards associated with document control and records management Proven commitment to workplace safety CORE COMPETENCIES Communicates in an open candid and consistent manner with impact to inform, enroll, coach, and inspire.
