Business Development Specialist

Job Overview
:
The
Business Development Specialist
will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with members, and expanding the membership base for our financial products and services. This role will focus on sales, member acquisition, and collaboration with various teams to align efforts with the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
:
Sales Focused
: Actively identify, prospect, and generate new leads to grow the company's membership base within the financial services sector.
Member Relationship Management
: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing members to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
Market Research & Strategy
: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Sales Presentations & Negotiations
: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to members, showcasing the benefits of our products and services. Lead negotiations and close deals.
Collaboration
: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high member satisfaction.
Reporting & Tracking
: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospects, and results in CRM systems. Provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline progress.
Goal Achievement
: Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the sales leadership team.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in business development, sales, or member acquisition, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of financial products and services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers effectively.
Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and develop strategies.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
