Summary

As a Member of the Member Benefits Team, you will be responsible for supporting the team with Marketing Communications, Social Media and all things Contesting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with x-functional teams to develop strategy and content for the following channels \xe2\x80\x93 Direct/Base (Member comms), Web, My Benefits app and My Account app, Retail, Mass social/digital advertising, IT
  • Plan monthly and weekly comms, and keep calendar up-to-date
  • Review and deliver content (i.e. emails, SMS, push notification, etc.) for publishing/deployment
  • Manage approvals with key stakeholders
  • Evaluate results with x-functional primes and apply learnings to future comms
Social Media
  • Plan organic content for social media channels Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Own content calendar maintenance
  • Project manage content development and publishing with x-functional teams (i.e. brand, HR, internal creative services, and creative agency)
  • Draft creative copy as needed
  • Manage reviews and approvals with key stakeholders
  • Share the latest developments and best practices in the social media world
  • Keen interest in DE&I and creating multicultural content
Contesting
  • Generate Rules & Regulations as needed
  • Register/close contests with required government agencies as necessary
  • Contact/vet winners
  • Award prizes
  • Coordinate winner travel and accommodations as needed
Critical Qualifications
  • University degree in Marketing, Communications and/or related discipline
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Knowledge of social media strategies and best practices
  • Experience with creating social content, especially video
  • Razor-sharp attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and wear multiple hats
  • Analytical and problem solver
  • Keen to learn and expand their skills
  • Flexible in a fast-paced environment and adaptable in an ever-evolving environment
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications or other technology industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Proficiency in French a plus
