Desired Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in project management, business administration, social services, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience coordinating projects or programs, ideally in a non-profit or community-based setting.
Strong organizational and time management skills - able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Excel, etc.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of grant reporting and funding requirements is an asset.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, as some work may take place in the community.
Job Responsibilities:
Help manage all special projects and make sure deadlines, and reporting requirements are met.
Organize tasks, and make sure projects run on schedule.
Track project progress and follow up on any delays or issues.
Organize programs and events, including schedules, materials, and communication.
Keep project files and reports up to date and organized.
Work with team members and community partners to keep projects running smoothly.
Help with budget tracking and reporting as needed.
Attend team meetings and share updates on project activities.
Coordinate resources and assist with recruitment and staffing for projects.
May require flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends, depending on programming needs.
Additional Requirements:
Criminal Record Check, Adult Abuse Registry Check, Child Abuse Registry Check. Driver's Licence and access to transportation.
