Special Education Teacher – Reach 60% General Subjects – Floating Replacement Position

Job Description
We are looking for a temporary special education replacement teacher, for a regional and special program located at multiple REACH school locations. The following position is available for the 2025-2026 school year.
NATURE OF WORK
ThIs position offers an exciting opportunity to work across various grade levels, supporting different classrooms as needed. The position involves teaching students in groups that are composed primarily or equally of individuals with handicaps, social maladjustments, or learning difficulties.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSETS:
Hold a teaching permit recognized by the MEES. Experience as a resource teacher or special education teacher. Knowledge of assistive technology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to tailor their teaching methods to meet the needs of their students. Ability to work in a team. Flexibility and adaptability in different classroom settings.
SALARY AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Salary and working conditions in accordance with the Teachers' Collective Agreement.
