Le poste



Sectra se lance dans une initiative pancanadienne visant a diriger des projets de remplacement de PACS a l'echelle regionale et provinciale. Notre ambition est de transformer les solutions d'imagerie medicale a travers le pays, en nous appuyant sur la technologie de pointe Sectra et notre expertise reconnue afin d'ameliorer les soins aux patients et d'optimiser les flux de travail cliniques. Nous recherchons des personnes orientees service, passionnees par la sante et la technologie. En tant qu'Ingenieur technique, vous jouerez un role cle dans la conception, le deploiement et le soutien de systemes critiques ayant un impact direct sur les resultats cliniques.



Communication client & gestion des cas



Gerer de maniere autonome les demandes de support technique enregistrees dans le systeme ServiceDesk, en documentant avec precision les actions entreprises, les solutions apportees et les modifications systeme effectuees.

Escalader les problemes complexes ou non resolus aux ingenieurs seniors ou aux equipes specialisees, lorsque necessaire.

Communiquer directement avec les clients, partenaires et distributeurs afin de recueillir des informations techniques, clarifier le comportement du systeme et transmettre des mises a jour tout au long du processus de resolution.



Deploiement & configuration des systemes



Effectuer de facon autonome l'installation et la configuration de serveurs Windows, des instances MS SQL Server, des applications d'entreprise ainsi que des integrations Active Directory dans l'environnement d'imagerie Sectra.

Configurer et maintenir les deploiements en cloud sur Microsoft Azure pour les systemes TI en sante, en assurant une configuration adequate, evolutive et conforme aux normes de securite.



Integration & interoperabilite



Realiser de maniere autonome l'integration entre les solutions Sectra et des systemes externes (DME, RIS, HIS, outils d'intelligence artificielle), a l'aide d'interfaces standards (DICOM, HL7, IHE) et d'API personnalisees.

Depanner et resoudre les problemes d'interoperabilite lies aux flux d'imagerie, a la connectivite des systemes et aux protocoles d'echange de donnees.



Diagnostic technique & expertise



Servir de ressource technique dans le diagnostic et la resolution de problemes complexes lies a la performance, a la configuration ou aux integrations des systemes.

Maintenir et enrichir continuellement une connaissance approfondie de la suite de produits Sectra -- logiciels, infrastructure materielle et services associes.

Demontrer une expertise technique dans des domaines cles selon les besoins des projets, des clients ou du developpement de l'equipe.

The role



Sectra is embarking on a journey to lead PACS replacement projects across Canada. We aim to revolutionize healthcare imaging solutions across regions and provinces, leveraging Sectra's cutting-edge technology and expertise to enhance patient care and streamline medical workflows. We're seeking service-minded individuals with a passion for healthcare. As a Technical Engineer your role will focus on designing, deploying, and supporting critical systems that drive improved clinical outcomes.



Customer Communication & Case Management



Independently manage and resolve technical support cases logged in the ServiceDesk system, ensuring accurate documentation of actions, solutions, and system changes.

Escalate unresolved or highly complex issues to senior engineers or specialized teams, as appropriate.

Engage directly with customers, partners, and distributors to gather technical information, clarify system behavior, and communicate updates throughout the resolution process.



System Deployment & Configuration



Perform independent installation and configuration of Windows-based servers, MS SQL Server instances, enterprise applications, and Active Directory integrations within Sectra's imaging environment.

Configure and support Microsoft Azure cloud-based deployments for healthcare IT systems, ensuring proper setup, scalability, and adherence to security standards.



Integration & Interoperability



Independently implement integrations between Sectra's solutions and external healthcare systems, including EMRs, RIS, HIS, and AI tools, using standard-based interfaces (DICOM, HL7, IHE) and custom APIs.

Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues involving imaging workflows, system connectivity, and data exchange protocols.



Technical Troubleshooting & Subject Matter Expertise



Serve as a technical resource in diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to system performance, configuration, and integrations.

Maintain and continuously expand strong working knowledge of Sectra's product suite, including software applications, hardware infrastructure, and associated services.

Demonstrate subject matter expertise in key technical areas as needed to support projects, customer requirements, or team development.

Skills & Requirements



Etes-vous la personne qu'il nous faut ?



Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en organisation, a l'oral comme a l'ecrit, en anglais et francais, avec une passion pour la sante et la technologie.

Diplome en genie informatique, informatique de la sante ou domaine connexe, avec un bon dossier academique.

3 a 5 ans d'experience dans un environnement TI dynamique.

2 a 3 ans d'experience dans le domaine des TI en sante, du support technique ou de l'administration de systemes.

Connaissance pratique des systemes PACS/RIS, des standards HL7/DICOM et des flux de travail cliniques.

Experience avec Windows Server, MS SQL, Active Directory et VMware.

Familiarite avec les scripts (ex. :

PowerShell ou Python) et les environnements infonuagiques comme Microsoft Azure (un atout).

Sens du service exemplaire, avec une approche centree sur le client.

Tres bonne capacite d'organisation, respect des echeances et gout pour les environnements de travail rapides.

Echelle salariale :

de 82 500 $ a 102 500 $. So are you a fit?



Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and oral in English and French, with a passion for healthcare and technology.

A degree in computer engineering, health informatics, or related field with strong academic performance.

3 - 5 years of experience in a fast-paced IT environment

2 - 3 years of experience in healthcare IT, technical support, or system administration.

Working knowledge of PACS/RIS system, HL7/DICOM standards, and clinical workflows

Experience with Windows Server, MS SQL, Active Directory, and VMware.

Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell or Python) and cloud environments like Microsoft Azure is an asset.

A passion for service excellence, with exceptional customer service.

Our salary range for this role falls between $82,500 and $102,500.
