Candidate profile (title) Who you are
Candidate profile (text) - en_UK / en_INTERNATIONAL o You have a degree in trade management, trade compliance law, International Business, Supply chain management or similar field

  • You are a licensed customs house broker
  • You have 3 or more years of experience in Customs Management
  • You have knowledge of customs, provincial and federal government regulations, International Business and import compliance rules and regulations for the US and Canada.
  • You have previous leadership experience working in Supply chain management.
  • You are tech savvy!
  • You love working in a high volume and fast paced office/ distribution environment
  • You are very analytical, and results driven. You love to investigate things and come up with solutions to any issues that may arise with tact and grace.
  • You have amazing attention for details and can effortlessly juggle multiple competing priorities while keeping a smile on your face.
  • You are a total people-person and can strike up a conversation easily and build rapport with anyone you interact with!
  • You don't mind occasionally travelling internationally and domestically for work
Key responsibilities (title) A day in your life with us
Key responsibilities (text) - en_UK / en_INTERNATIONAL o Support the Customs Manager and Team Leader on Customs operations in the IKEA Group in relation to commercial goods.
  • Contribute to implementation and follow-up of customs and trade regulations framework and provide feedback on improvement potential.
  • Secure compliance via implementation of efficient and effective internal control systems
  • Contribute to competence learning for other parts of the IKEA organization by providing training and education to other supply chain functions (Trading, Distribution and Transport).
  • In a proactive way, support the best buy process by raising awareness around optimal customs and trade related set-ups.
  • Participate in customs operations related projects.
  • Identify and evaluate risks and implement actions for mitigation.
  • Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers.
  • Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned.

Le taux/salaire de depart pour ce poste varie de 58960 CAD a 81070 CAD et sera base sur l'experience professionnelle pertinente.
