Duties

Provide real-time interpretation between Spanish and English in verbal communications during meetings, medical appointments, legal proceedings, or community events. Translate writte correspondence, and informational materials from Spanish to English and vice versa. Assist with written communication tasks by utilizing typing skills to produce accurate translations and summaries. Support clients or stakeholders by ensuring clarity and understanding through effective communication strategies. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information. Collaborate with team members to improve interpretation processes and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Skills

Proven interpretation skills in both Spanish and English, with a strong command of linguistic nuances. Excellent translation skills with attention to detail in both written and spoken language. Exceptional communication skills to facilitate effective dialogue between parties. Proficiency in typing for quick and accurate documentation. Background in linguistics or related fields is preferred. Bilingual proficiency is essential for this role, along with the ability to adapt communication styles as needed.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
