About the Role





The

Spanish Human Resources Coordinator

plays a key role in supporting and developing our foreign worker teams. You will act as the main bridge between Spanish-speaking employees and management--focusing on

clear communication, conflict resolution, and creating a positive work environment

.



A big part of your role involves

delivering training, supporting onboarding, guiding supervisors, and helping employees understand expectations and policies

. You'll also assist with workforce planning, documentation, and labour analytics to support team performance across our greenhouse sites.



This role is ideal for someone bilingual, people-focused, and confident in coaching, resolving issues early, and helping teams grow.

Key Responsibilities




1. HR Support & Training




Deliver orientations and explain duties to foreign workers Create training materials (PowerPoint, pamphlets, job descriptions) Track mandatory training (HR manual, bullying/harassment, code of conduct) Support 30-60-90 day check-ins and onboarding Assist with employee cellphone setup and document updates

2. Employee Relations, Discipline & Mediation




Support conflict resolution, mediation, and coaching for supervisors Assist managers with evaluations and follow-up plans Conduct investigations for policy violations and document outcomes

3. Recruitment & LMIA Coordination




Support recruitment for management and supervisory roles Interview candidates in countries of origin Assist with LMIA submissions and communication with ministries Maintain a detailed applicant database

4. Labour Forecasting & Scheduling Support




Track availability, medical restrictions, leaves, and rotations Help plan seasonal arrivals and departures Collaborate with the labour planning team to identify shortages

5. Data, Analytics & Systems




Maintain i2i Proteus for timekeeping and production tracking Build labour productivity reports (crop, site, team) Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and monthly HR summaries Provide training to supervisors and managers on digital tools Support continuous improvement initiatives

6. Program & Compliance




Manage work permits, passport renewals, and IRCC/ESDC readiness Coordinate medical appointments, MSP, and insurance enrollment Assist payroll with arrivals, ROEs, and bonus updates Support consular visits, events, tournaments, and worker activities

7. Housing, Transportation & Logistics




Support housing compliance and inspections Support in coordination of transportation, groceries, and trip schedules Support with flight scheduling and worker arrivals/departures


Schedule:

Monday-Friday (Weekend flexibility required)



Core Skills & Attributes




Fluent Spanish & English (verbal and written) Strong conflict-resolution and communication skills Training-focused: able to coach, guide, and support supervisors Analytical mindset; comfortable with data and reporting Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills Calm, assertive, and professional in HR situations Able to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment


Experience & Qualifications




1-2 years of HR or coordination experience Experience supporting TFW, agriculture, manufacturing, or processing industries is an asset Knowledge of HR software (BambooHR, i2i Proteus preferred) Strong Excel and reporting skills (pivot tables, dashboards) Familiar with basic immigration / TFW program requirements Valid

Class 5 Driver's License

* Experience with Lean, Power BI, or KPI reporting is an asset
