What You'll Do:
Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, food preparation, and recipe development
Lead kitchen operations during service, ensuring consistency, quality, and timing
Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety
Manage inventory levels, food costs, and waste to meet budget targets
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop daily features and specials
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a
Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie
(required)
Valid Food Handler's Certificate
(required)
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and preparation methods
Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example
Team leadership and people-management skills are a strong asset
