Overview


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service, with a focus on food preparation, safety, and team management. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities



Culinary Leadership:

Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary team. Foster a positive, innovative kitchen culture.

Menu Development:

Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership to create seasonal, guest-focused menus--including breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

Quality Control:

Maintain exceptional standards in food quality and presentation. Conduct regular tastings and kitchen audits.

Cost Management:

Monitor and control food and labor costs. Implement strategies to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Team Management:

Supervise and schedule kitchen staff; resolve personnel issues and foster team development.

Health & Safety:

Ensure full compliance with health regulations and food safety protocols. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

Vendor & Inventory Management:

Build and maintain supplier relationships. Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory controls.

Scheduling:

Create and manage efficient kitchen schedules that align with business volume and event demands.

Culinary Innovation:

Stay ahead of industry trends. Introduce new techniques, ingredients, and visual presentation styles.

Qualifications



Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a premium casual or fine dining setting.

Strong experience with banquets, private events, and large-scale service.

Demonstrated success in managing food and labor costs.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Creative thinker with a passion for culinary innovation and menu design.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.

Experience or knowledge in the following areas is considered a strong asset:

High tea service and presentation.

Wood oven pizza techniques and recipes.

Traditional regional and ethnic cooking styles.

International fusion cuisine and modern plating styles.

Italian cooking techniques and authentic Italian cuisine.
